Job Description Job Description Job Title: Landscaping & Grounds Maintenance Person Location: 5000 Interstate 10 Frontage Road, Sealy, TX 77474 Job Type: Full-Time | On-site Job Summary: We are seeking a reliable, skilled Grounds Maintenance Person to assist in maintaining a 200-acre commercial property located in Sealy, Texas. The ideal candidate has hands-on experience with landscaping, land maintenance, and operating outdoor equipment. This is a physically demanding, year-round position that requires outdoor work in all weather conditions. Key Responsibilities: Mow large fields and grass areas using tractors and zero-turn mowers Weed eat, edge, and maintain fence lines, drainage ditches, and hard-to-reach areas Operate brush hogs, tractors, skid steers, and other heavy landscape equipment as needed Apply herbicides, weed killers, and fertilizers safely and effectively (spot and broadcast application) Maintain and clean all landscaping equipment, reporting any needed repairs Clear debris, brush, and fallen limbs regularly Monitor grounds for overgrowth, erosion, pest issues, or damage and report as needed Perform seasonal landscape duties (mulching, trimming, pruning, etc.) Assist with land projects such as clearing new areas or prepping for development Follow all safety protocols and wear appropriate PPE Maintain a clean and professional appearance of the property at all times Qualifications: Minimum 3 years of experience in groundskeeping, landscaping, or land maintenance on large properties (50 acres preferred) Strong experience with tractors, mowers, brush hogs, weed eaters, chainsaws, and other power tools Familiarity with proper use and storage of weed killers, pesticides, and herbicides Must be able to lift 50 lbs and work outdoors in Texas weather year-round Ability to work independently and manage time effectively Mechanical aptitude a plus (for equipment maintenance and minor repairs) Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation to work Schedule: Monday to Friday Occasional weekends or after-hours in peak seasons or for weather-related needs 40–50 hours per week, depending on season and workload Compensation: Competitive hourly rate or salary based on experience Overtime available Comprehensive Medical, Dental, Vision, Life, and Disability insurance. 401k Paid time off
