enthusiastic and detail-oriented Express Service Writer to join our
team. The ideal candidate will play a critical role in delivering
outstanding customer service and ensuring smooth communication
between our customers and service technicians. As an Express
Service Writer, you will be responsible for handling customer
inquiries, scheduling appointments, and accurately documenting
service needs for vehicles in an efficient and timely manner. Key
Responsibilities: - Greet customers promptly and professionally in
a welcoming manner. - Assess customer service needs and provide
recommendations for maintenance or repair services. - Schedule
service appointments and manage the service department's workflow
to optimize efficiency. - Document service requests accurately in
our service management system. - Communicate effectively with
technicians to clarify service requirements and ensure accurate
completion of work. - Provide customers with cost estimates and
information about services, policies, and warranty details. - Keep
customers informed of the status of their vehicles and any
additional work that may be needed. - Build and maintain strong
relationships with customers to foster customer loyalty and
retention. - Handle customer complaints and resolve issues
effectively and professionally. - Follow up with customers
post-service to ensure satisfaction and encourage repeat business.
Qualifications: - High school diploma or equivalent; automotive
experience preferred. - Previous experience as a service writer or
in a customer service role, preferably in the automotive industry.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills. - Strong
organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple tasks and
priorities. - Proficient in using service management software and
Microsoft Office Suite. - Knowledge of automotive repair and
maintenance services is a plus. - Ability to work effectively in a
fast-paced environment. - Positive attitude with a commitment to
