Special Education, active Special Education Teacher license and
minimum 1 years Special Education Teacher experience required.

considered. A Life Skills Special Education Teacher position is
available in Houston, TX, serving elementary-aged students. This
contract role requires a Texas Special Education license and offers
an opportunity to make a meaningful impact in a supportive
educational environment. Key Qualifications: Valid Texas Special
Education (SPED) teaching license Experience working with
elementary-aged students in special education settings Strong
knowledge of life skills curriculum and individualized education
plans (IEPs) Ability to collaborate with multidisciplinary teams
and communicate effectively with families Location: Houston, TX
Assignment: Contract, 37.5 hours per week, 5 days per week Student
Age Group: Elementary Responsibilities: Develop and implement
individualized lesson plans focused on life skills to support
students with special needs Monitor and document student progress,
adjusting instructional strategies as needed Collaborate with
teachers, therapists, and families to create a strong support
system Maintain compliance with state guidelines and report
requirements Foster a positive, inclusive classroom environment
