Job Description Job Description Bachelor's degree from an ASHA-accredited university, active Speech-Language Pathology Assistant (SLPA) license and minimum 1 years speech-language pathology experience required. A rewarding opportunity is available for a Speech-Language Pathology Assistant (SLPA) to support elementary students in a school setting. This contract position is located in Conroe, TX, and runs through the end of the school year, with the possibility of renewal based on performance and school needs. Key Responsibilities: Assist the speech-language pathologist in delivering speech and language therapy to elementary school students Implement individualized treatment plans under the supervision of a licensed speech-language pathologist Monitor and document student progress, adjusting support strategies as necessary Collaborate with teachers, parents, and school staff to support student communication development Maintain accurate records in compliance with school policies and regulations Desired Qualifications: Certification or relevant credential as a Speech-Language Pathology Assistant Experience working with pediatric populations, preferably in an educational environment Strong communication and interpersonal skills Ability to work effectively as part of a multidisciplinary team Knowledge of speech and language development in children Location: Elementary school setting within Conroe, TX Benefits of this role include hands-on experience with an elementary school caseload and the opportunity to make a meaningful impact on students' communication skills.
