seeks to add a resource in its Houston office: THE POSITION The
Field Support Technician will be responsible for the proper
installation of Geolog’s mobile laboratory on oil rigs onshore and
offshore and for the maintenance of equipment. The position will
report directly to the US Operations Manager. Responsibilities
include, but not limited, to: Mobile Laboratory installation and
equipment maintenance: To install, test, maintain, repair damaged
equipment, to refurbish and control equipment returning to the base
from the field Field support: To regularly contact field operations
for support and assistance, to train crew members on equipment
maintenance, to give field equipment support and to perform
equipment installation on oil rigs when required. Store: i nventory
and warehouse organization, monitoring the level of spares and
consumables Technical Documentation: to ensure the technical and
Health & Safety documentation is complete and updated in the mobile
laboratories in the field REQUIREMENTS: Education level: High
school with an Electronics and/or IIT specialization or higher
Minimum of 5 years experience in a technical/technician role
Driving License Fluent in English. Highly organized with ability to
coordinate and prioritize multiple tasks and projects Team player
with strong communication and interpersonal skills Ability to work
alone on projects as well as within a group / team Role offers an
