Major Duties


Classification: Exempt/Non-BargainingPosition may be located remote. #LI-RemoteWe are seeking an experienced and motivated individual to join our team as a Fault Management and Remediation Automation Developer. The successful candidate will be responsible for designing, developing, and implementing solutions for automating the management and remediation of system faults as well as maintaining the systems that support these solutions. This includes identifying, analyzing, and resolving system issues in a timely and efficient manner.
Responsibilities


Design, develop, implement, document and support solutions for automating the management and remediation of system faults Identify, analyze, and resolve system issues in a timely and efficient manner Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure that the solutions developed meet the needs of the business Stay up-to-date with the latest industry trends and technologies in fault management and remediation automation. Continuously improve the existing solutions and processes
Qualifications


Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, or a related field or equivalent experience. 5-7 years of telephony experience, including 3+ years' experience developing solutions for fault management and remediation automation Strong programming skills in one or more of the following languages: Python, Java, Javascript, C++, GoLang, etc. Database experience including Oracle, MSSql, MySQL, PostgreSQL, Elastic Search, etc. Understanding of REST and SOAP web services. Experience with DevOps tools and methodologies such as Ansible, Puppet, Chef, etc. Experience with monitoring and logging tools such as Netcool, Solarwinds, Elasticsearch, Logstash, Kibana, Prometheus, etc. Telecommunications technology knowledge. Examples: DSL, GPON, Routers, Switches Experience with Linux and Windows environments. Strong analytical and problem-solving skills Excellent communication and teamwork abilities. Strong project management, communication, organization, and troubleshooting skills.

    Salary


    Pay range (commensurate with skills and experience): $72,570 - $110,002 annually
