Job Description Job Description Job Title: Maintenance Electrician Job Description We are seeking a skilled maintenance electrician to diagnose, troubleshoot, and repair electrical issues on conveyor systems, bagging systems, and production equipment. This role involves interfacing with PLCs, VFDs, low and high voltage systems, and electrical panels. The position requires approximately 30% mechanical work and 70% electrical work, including performing preventative maintenance on all equipment and conducting daily inspections to ensure optimal operation. Responsibilities Diagnose and repair electrical problems on conveyor systems, bagging systems, and production equipment. Interface with PLCs, VFDs, low and high voltage systems, and electrical panels. Perform preventative maintenance on all equipment. Conduct daily inspections and repair equipment as necessary. Read and interpret blueprints, schematics, and drawings. Essential Skills 5 years of electrical maintenance experience. Proficiency in working with PLCs, VFDs, safety devices, sensors, and motors. Ability to diagnose and repair PLCs. Experience in the food and beverage industry. Capability to read and interpret blueprints, schematics, and drawings. Additional Skills & Qualifications Experience with one phase and three phase systems. Knowledge of 120V and 280V systems. Understanding of hydraulics and pneumatics. Familiarity with ultrasonic, photoelectric, magnetic, capacitive, inductive sensors, thermocouples, RTDs, and thermistors. Why Work Here? Flexibility is required to rotate shifts as needed, including the possibility of working second and third shifts, as well as weekends. Job Type & Location This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Missouri City, TX. Pay and Benefits The pay range for this position is $30.00 - $40.00/hr.
