We have an opportunity for an Acquisitions Accounting Manager to join our team. You will be responsible for integration of acquisitions, maintaining a high standard of integrity for controls in the organization, manage/coordinate the preparation of internal and external financial reporting, supporting the diligence process of potential acquisitions, purchase accounting and initiating post-acquisition performance assessments. Interested candidates, who meet the requirements below, are encouraged to apply today You Will Be a valued and integral part of our North America Controlling organization, engaging with various levels of leadership Lead/Develop accounting processes and be viewed as a change agent, role model, and coach Support M&A process with BU/Segment and/or Enterprise leadership by contributing to financial models of potential acquisitions, leading accounting due diligence from a technical accounting and accounting process standpoint, maintaining purchase accounting models and coordinating with external specialists and initiating post-acquisition performance assessments Drive performance and lead accounting processes by: Developing in-depth knowledge of critical processes and reporting systems Ensures accurate and timely reporting of financial transactions to the general ledger Actively participate and complete in-depth financial reviews, strategic planning, and modeling for acquisitions Analyzing significant variances for balance sheet results, comparing to prior quarter and prior year. Ensuring reliability of financial data and analysis by supporting and validating the reconciliation process of ERP, Financial Reporting systems and Business Intelligence Tools Partner with the Finance Team to ensure the accuracy of the monthly results Approve Journal Entries and Reconciliations to ensure accuracy and internal controls are met. Help standardize and improve key processes for our Controlling team and overall organization in a culture that fosters respect and teamwork, positive energy, customer first, absolute integrity, innovation and adaptability, and accountability for performance Partner with Corporate to ensure requests are completed in an accurate/timely manner. Streamline reporting to be supported by efficient and repeatable processes. Lead integration of newly acquired businesses from an accounting standpoint (including purchase price allocation, net working capital adjustments, system integration, accounting policy, and accounting process) Key Qualifications Bachelor---s degree in Accounting or Finance 6 years of accounting and/or finance experience Have a solid understanding of financial statements and accounting Have strong analytical abilities with the ability to summarize and report out in an easily understood format to all levels of management Have high attention to detail and the ability to summarize and reconcile large quantities of data Be able to communicate effectively Have the ability to work quickly and efficiently while maintaining high standard of quality Work well on team projects with both Business Leadership and Finance Work well independently and with minimal supervision Have strong PC skills with an emphasis on Excel Experience in various ERP---s and understand automated accounting rules Be flexible for travel Knowledge of OneStream, COGNOS Business Intelligence, Tableau, TM1, Sql, QuickBooks, Epicor, Oracle 1 years of experience in a management and/or supervisory capacity a plus.
