Our technical services include application consultations, feasibility studies, cross-platform integration, financing, and installation.Join the Quantum Analytics Sales Team!We are seeking an energetic and motivated Territory Sales Manager to join our team. You will be responsible for selling the company, instrumentation, and services portfolio to customers in the South/Southeast United States. You will apply your excellent sales track record and industry connections to retain and grow our customer base across multiple industries. In this high-visibility/high-impact role, you will act as advocate for the company and customers across all sales activities in your region. With a unique value proposition, encouraging managers, and a team of coworkers to support you, you'll find the resources and the opportunities to make significant contributions.Job Responsibilities:Drive sales across all product lines and applicable markets/industries in the South/Southeast region of the US (ideally based near a major airport)Develop and execute a strategic territory plan that will enable you to achieve territory sales goals, including revenue targets and vendor quotasEffectively manage leads and opportunities in Salesforce.com CRM and provide an accurate monthly sales forecastDetermine customer needs and define solutions with support of product specialist including vendor partners Efficiently and promptly respond to customer requests and clarify the customers' challengesProvide proposals based on customer application, budget, and other business requirements in conjunction with applications team and vendor partnersCommunicate regularly with company management and provide timely updates on all opportunitiesEstablish, develop, and maintain business relationships with customers and vendor partnersEffectively prospect to find and close new opportunities in existing and new accountsAttend trade shows and participate in local/regional industry forumsHost and present during in-person and virtual events with clients and partnersKeep up to date on new products to increase own abilities and skillsPrepare and deliver exciting, compelling, and focused product demonstrations and presentations with and without assistance of technical teamActively collaborate with management and marketing to provide customer feedback to help guide continual development of products and services that effectively address customers' needsUnderstand Quantum Analytics applications in environmental, petrochemical, life sciences, applied market, and government market segments and recognize trends that impact buying of products and servicesDevelop and maintain strategic customer relationshipsRequired Experience:BS Degree in Chemistry, Biology, or related discipline4+ years' experience selling analytical solutions and B2B development solutions in environmental, petrochemical, life science, biotechnology, or related industry Strong negotiation and selling skillsExperience using Salesforce CRM to successfully manage and track sales activityExcellent presentation and communication skills (verbal and written)Experience using Microsoft Office products (Outlook, PowerPoint, Word, Excel)Highly driven, motivated self-starter, and independent workerRegional (and some national) travel will be requiredStrong knowledge of environmental, petrochemical and government laboratories and analyses market spaces - requiredExperience in large, high-profile account management including development, negotiation, and execution of pricing agreementsIndustry application expertise - working knowledge of competitive products (specifications, applications, value propositions) a plusPreferred Experience:Knowledge of molecular spectroscopy, chromatography, pyrolysis, thermal desorption, elemental analysis, material characterization, x-ray fluorescence/diffractionPreferred familiarity with the following industries: biotech, pharmaceutical, academia research, medical research, environmental, food/flavors, clinical/toxicology, forensics, and petrochemical/petroleumDemonstrated ability to operate independently with initiative, objective attainment intensity, and solid business judgmentProven ability to sell creative solutions to high level customer personnelDemonstrated excellence in oral and written communications skillsStrong organizational and time management skills Strong technical, business, and financial acumenHighly effective negotiation skillsSophisticated level of computer proficiencyPrevious experience working with customer purchasing teams to manage effective contract negotiationsAbility to interface at all levels within an organization for both internal/external customersHighly motivated, excellent self-management, organizational, and prioritization skillsAbility to collaborate and work within a team selling environment to achieve sales goalsMust be able to travel up to 50% of the time - subject to current events
