The Senior Advisor, Contract Management ensures that ENGIE' TGBU projects are properly contracted in compliance with procurement policies and ENGIE's Ethics Charter for specific standalone assignments and for work as part of a larger project. The Contract Management Advisor serves as a member of project teams and leads the process of tendering, negotiating and formalizing EPC contracts and service contracts. The Contract Management Advisor is the single point of contact for specific project contract strategy, planning, and implementation in support of the Project Manager and the Project Execution Plan to meet the project goals.This position sits in Houston, Texas, however, other locations may be considered on a case-by-case basis. You will report to the Head of Project Delivery.What you'll do:Develop a list of potential bidders, solicits contractor/supplier Letters of Interest based on the contracting plan and project requirements, and evaluates responses to the Letter of Interest solicitations to develop a final bidders listDevelop the Request for Proposal (RFP) packages relying on discussions and documentation from the Project Team members to provide a complete package meeting the project schedule and incorporating stakeholder requirementsDrive the contract bidding process for contracts as the bidder's single point of contact using coordination meetings, site visits and issuing RFP addenda as required; Prepares bid tabulations incorporating Project Team member's reviews to make a final bidder recommendationNotify the selected bidder and unsuccessful bidders. Manages the negotiations with the selected bidder and releases the other biddersDrive and controls the negotiations with the selected bidder using a documented process and good judgment to resolve Scope, and Terms & Conditions differencesPrepare final contracts, award letters and Notices to Proceed as appropriateReview supplier/contractor project invoicing for contract complianceReview Change Order Requests and drives the negotiations with the supplier/contractor using good judgment, the Project Team and relying on the contract terms. Negotiates schedule and cost impacts in an effort to preserve the contracting planPrepare final Change Orders for signature using the agreements, the results of the negotiations with the contractor and the Project TeamPrepare project close-out documentation using Provisional Acceptance and Final Acceptance contract documentation requirementsWhat you bring:BS in engineering or related field.A minimum of ten years' of progressive experience including contract management for large industrial projectsA strong understanding of project execution and project related tax, finance, insurance and legal issuesAbility to plan and work independently as well as working as a part of a team.Ability to handle multiple tasks concurrentlyAbility to use business computer programs as well as scheduling software such as Microsoft Project PlannerAbility to communicate effectively, both verbal and written communicationsAdditional Information/Conditions:Must be eligible to work for any U.S. employer without the need for sponsorship now or in the futureAbility to travel domestically and internationally on limited occasionsMust be willing and able to comply with ENGIE's policy with respect to COVID vaccination and testingMust be willing and able to comply with all ENGIE ethics and safety policiesWhile performing the duties of this job, the employee is not exposed to weather conditionsAbility to meet highest attendance requirementsAbility to communicate effectively, both written and verballyAbility to handle multiple assignments on a timely basis with a high degree of accuracyAbility to use a personal computer, calculator, etc.Eligible for a hybrid schedule consisting of in-office and work-from-home opportunitiesWhy ENGIE?ENGIE North America isn't just participating in the Zero-Carbon Transition, we're leading it!
