Job Description:

Job duties to include, but not limited to are:Preoperative evaluation of potential implant candidatesProvide on-site clinical support with pre-implant, peri-implant, and post-implant trainingand support at implanting centers throughout North America. A significant amount ofovernight travel should be expected.Provide twenty-four hour emergency telephone support on a rotational basisPost-implant follow-up and support with data acquisition and management related tooutcomes, adverse events, and additional patient-related information as requiredWorks in cooperation with customers to improve clinical patient outcomesPromote Berlin Heart's products to prospective customersAccesses clinical and educational needs of customersCoordinates and assists with the training of all centersAssist implanting sights with maintaining regulatory complianceParticipate in sales and marketing activities as assigned within the limitations provided by the product approval status as granted by the FDA.Provide twenty-four hour emergency telephone support on a rotational basis.Assist implanting sights with maintaining regulatory compliance.Prepare, modify and distribute study materials such as CRF's, study reference manuals, and monitoring guidelines/manuals.Assist in the development of research protocols, education materials, and scientific publications.Actively communicate with clinical team members, including participation in team meetings and updates.Participate in investigator meetings.Establish in-house SOP's as needed.This position reports directly to the Director of Clinical AffairsQualifications:Education:--BS with allied healthcare experience, Perfusionist, NP, PA, or--Cardiac NurseRequired Knowledge:--Knowledge of Clinical Affairs documentation and design and implementation, demonstrated leadership skills, strong communication skills both written and spoken.--A strong knowledge of pediatric congenital heart disease is preferred.Experience: Minimum of 5 years of experience working with cardiac mechanical support.
