HCA Houston Healthcare Conroe Conroe, TX Charge RN - Ortho/Surgical/Trauma HCA Houston Healthcare Conroe is a tertiary acute care 342 bed hospital that has been serving the community for more than 75 years. It provides a 24-hour designated Level II trauma center, Level III neonatal intensive care unit, cardiac care services, women s center, daVinci robotic surgery, neurosciences, pediatric care, rehabilitation therapy, sleep center, radiology, hyperbaric medicine, diagnostic/imaging services, and wound care facility. HCA Houston Healthcare Conroe is affiliated with HCA Houston Healthcare, part of the HCA Healthcare Gulf Coast Division. The division is a comprehensive network of hospitals, outpatient surgery centers, emergency centers and diagnostic imaging facilities in greater Houston, Corpus Christi and South Texas. Facilities include: 17 hospitals, nine ambulatory care centers, 13 off-campus emergency centers, and a regional transfer center. HCA Houston Healthcare Conroe has achieved recognition as a Certified Primary Stroke Center, an Accredited Chest Pain Center, and designation as a Level III Trauma facility. The hospital also has a Level III Neonatal ICU for the most vulnerable patients. What you will do in this role:

• Under the general direction of the Nurse Director, assists with nursing leadership for assessment, planning, implementing and evaluating patient care of assigned area(s).
• Collaborates with physicians and other departments to meet patient and family needs. Manages resources in a fiscally responsible manner.
• Supports CRMC s mission in accordance with regulatory standards. Qualifications What qualifications you will need:
  • Current Texas RN License
  • American Red Cross or America Heart Association Basic LifeSupport Course (BLS or BCLS) and Certification is required.
  • American Red Cross or American Heart Association AdvancedLife Support Course (ALS or ACLS) and Certification is required .
  • Minimum of 1-2 years Charge Nurse experience in an acute care hospital setting
