Facilities include: 17 hospitals, nine ambulatory care centers, 13 off-campus emergency centers, and a regional transfer center.What you would do in this role:Renal Dialysis Nurse is responsible for planning and providing patient care for the renal dialysis adult patients in accordance with the physician's orders, hospital policies and procedures, PSHA guidelines, AMI guidelines, JCAHO standards, federal, state, and local regulations.The Renal Dialysis Nurse is responsible for communicating with the primary nurse prior to, during, and after the dialysis treatment as necessary to assure continuity of patient care.The Renal Dialysis Nurse is also responsible for acute and chronic treatment modalities as ordered.The Renal Dialysis Nurse independently performs crucial tasks in assessing, initiating, monitoring, and terminating treatment modalities in the inpatient and outpatient setting.Performs duties independently, in a professional manner, without immediate or continuous supervision.QualificationsWhat qualifications you will need:Minimum of 6 months to a year of experience as a dialysis nurse, required.RN Licensure in state of Texas.Graduate from an accredited school of Nursing.American Red Cross or America Heart Association Basic LifeSupport Course (BLS or BCLS) and Certificationis required.HCA Healthcare ranks on Fortune's list of Most Admired Companies for three consecutive years and HCA ranks 63rd on the fortune 500 list.
