We are looking for a dedicated Radiology Assistant like you to be a part of our team.Job Summary and QualificationsWhat You Will Do In This Role:* You will transport patients to and from the Diagnostic Imaging Department by ambulation, wheelchair or stretcher as directed and dependent upon condition of patient.* You will instruct and assist patients concerning proper gown or apparel for radiographic procedures they are to receive, as needed.* You will maintain IV tubing and/ or Foley catheter, or other tubing involved, in a safe position during transport.* You will maintain confidentiality of all pertinent patient care information to assure patient rights are protected.* You will inform the nursing unit and supervisor of any problems encountered, or observed regarding patient during transportation.* You will ensure proper infection control techniques are routinely carried out.What Qualifications You Will Need:* One year of previous patient care experience is preferred.* BCLS certification through American Heart Association is required.* Ability to transfer and transport patients is required.This role requires you to be fully vaccinated for COVID-19 based on local, state and /or federal law or regulations (unless a medical or religious exemption is approved).At HCA Houston Healthcare Conroe, superior healthcare meets the comfort and convenience of a comprehensive hospital, close to home, in Conroe, Texas.
