Job SummaryWe are seeking a skilled and compassionate Registered Nurse to join our team at Tri County Services. As an IDD Registered Nurse, you will play a vital role in coordinating, directing, and providing services to individuals enrolled in our waiver programs.Key Responsibilities

• Conduct comprehensive assessments of individuals' needs, care, and treatment plans.
• Delegate medication and provide training on medication needs.
• Review, document, and implement recommendations from doctor visits, including follow-up plans.
• Conduct initial, annual, and as-needed assessments of individuals' medical and psychiatric status.
• Document medical services provided in agency software.
• Maintain accurate records of medications, deaths, illnesses, and patient transfers.
• Ensure medical records contain current orders.
• Assist with inventory management of medical supplies and instruments.
• Provide on-call support, primarily triaging by phone after hours.What We Offer

    • Active, unencumbered Registered Nursing license in the State of Texas.
    • Graduate of an accredited nursing school; Bachelor of Science (BSN) preferred.
    • Experience in Intellectual Developmental Disability preferred.
    • Valid Texas driver's license and insurability through Tri County.Please note that all applicants must successfully complete a drug screening and physical agility test prior to new hire orientation. Additionally, applicants selected for positions in the Criminal Justice/Jail Diversion Department or those providing services to TCOOMMI must undergo a Federal background check by fingerprinting through the FBI upon initial hire and annually thereafter.
