ResponsibilitiesJOB DESCRIPTIONThe Registered Nurse Coordinator is responsible for providing direct nursing care by applying clinical nursing knowledge and skills, and for ensuring the safety and comfort of patients and families according to legal, organizational and professional standards. As a coordinator he or she will provide team leadership to enhance the station or unit flow and functioning.Job Title: Coordinator Registered Nurse- Internal MedicineLocation: Katy 2Department: Internal MedicineJob Type: Full TimeSalary Range: $81,646 - $100,857 (Pay is based on several factors including but not limited to education, work experience, certifications, etc.)QualificationsEducationRequired: Graduate from an approved RN nursing programPreferred: Bachelor's DegreeExperienceRequired: 2 year in a clinical area related to assigned department.Preferred: Two years of ambulatory carePrior supervisory experienceLicense(s)Required: Valid and current Texas RN licensePreferred: N/ASpecial SkillsRequired: Able to use equipment and related supplies for selected patient population and for CPR, oxygenadministration and intravenous therapy. CRT experience.Preferred: Specialty nursing certification appropriate to specialty area assigned.
