Job Description:
TravelNurseSource is working with Cynet Health to find a
qualified Telemetry RN in Conroe, Texas, 77304! Pay Information
$1,612 per week About The Position Job Title: Registered Nurse
Profession: RN Specialty: Telemetry Duration: 13 weeks Shift: Night
Hours per Shift: 12 Experience: Minimum 1 year License: RN License
Certifications: ACLS, BLS Must-Have: Experience with administering
and monitoring IV cardiac drips, including Diltiazem and Amiodarone
Basic ECG rhythm interpretation Management of continuous BiPAP
post-cardiac catheterization/stent implant management Description:
The unit consists of 22 beds. Staffing includes 4 charge nurses, 24
nurses, 12 patient care technicians, and 2 unit secretaries.
Currently, the unit has 2 charge nurses, 24 nurses (including those
in orientation), 7 patient care technicians, plus 2 contract
patient care technicians. There are no unit secretaries available
at the moment. Patient ratios are 1:5 to 1:6. Typical equipment
includes Welch Allyn vital signs machines, Dash bedside monitors,
telemetry equipment, and BiPAP machines. The electronic medical
record system in use is Meditech. Acute cardiac care and acute
stroke care experience is preferred. Mandatory floating to
intermediate units and any med/surg telemetry units is required.
The dress code requires royal blue scrubs. The unit operates with a
commitment to seeking candidates who demonstrate a strong aptitude
for teamwork and effective communication. Weekend shifts are
required, with a total of 4 weekend shifts scheduled per month.
