Summary and Qualifications Our Imaging Teams are a committed,
caring group of professionals. We are currently seeking a Nuclear
Medicine Technologist to join our team on a
full-time/part-time/PRN/per diem/as-needed basis. As a Nuclear
Medicine Technologist, you will perform diagnostic and therapeutic
technical procedures utilizing radio pharmaceuticals in a careful,
compassionate and respectful manner. We prioritize patient care.
Tasks and responsibilities as a Nuclear Medicine Technologist may
include but are not limited to: If you are dedicated to caring for

Tasks and responsibilities as a Nuclear Medicine Technologist may
include but are not limited to: Use radioactive isotopes to perform
organ and body scans Prepare radioactive isotopes for
administration to patients in accordance with physicians' orders;
Administer and record dosages as well Perform diagnostic studies on
patients using scanners or scintillation cameras to detect
radiation emitted and to produce image of organ on photographic
film Position patients and adjust immobilization devices
Compassionately explain procedures to patients and address concerns
Demonstrate competency in the following: Biliary, Brain Spect, Bone
Scan, Cardiac, Cisternogram, Colonic Bleed, Prostascint, Gallium,
Gastric Emptying, GI Bleed, Indium Scan, Liver, MIBG, Octreoscan
Monitor, record and communicate utilizing computerized
documentation (MEDITECH) Assist with transporting patients as
needed Qualifications High School Graduate or GED Graduate of a
Nuclear Medicine Technologist program (AMA-Approved School)
Current/Active Florida Department of Health licensure (CRT) Minimum
of one (1) year of recent experience as a Nuclear Medicine
Technologist preferred Current registry: NMTCB or ARRT (N) Current
Basic Life Support (BLS) certification Knowledge of GAMMA cameras
Ability to perform work that requires frequent standing, bending,
reaching, squatting, kneeling, moving, lifting of patients and/or
equipment up to 50 lbs. HCA Florida Trinity Hospital is a 340 bed
