Job Description & Requirements - Specialty: ICU - Intensive Care Unit - Discipline: RN - Start Date: 01/05/2026 - Duration: 13 weeks - 36 hours per week - Shift: 12 hours, days - Employment Type: Travel RN Position Job Notes: Travel or Local Registered Nurse needed for ASAP start. A minimum of 2 years of recent hospital bedside experience is required. Candidates must be able to start within 5 weeks. Opportunity for extension upon successful completion of the initial assignment. $750 referral bonus available. Opportunity: RN - ICU Job Details: • Work in a 30-bed ICU located on the 3rd floor • Patient ratios range from 1:1, 2:1, and 3:1 depending on acuity and patient needs • 4 weekend shifts required per schedule • No on-call responsibilities • Float to IMU when needed • Required certifications: ACLS, BLS • Must have ICU experience with ventilator and cardiovascular drips • Neuro experience preferred but not mandatory • Work with specialized equipment including CRRT, IABP, and Impella (not mandatory for contracts) • Perform typical ICU procedures including thoracentesis, arterial line and central line placement • Use Meditech EMR system • Dress code requires royal blue scrubs • Staff includes approximately 82 team members with typical day/night shift having 2 charge nurses and 15 staff nurses Facility: This healthcare facility operates a comprehensive 30-bed intensive care unit providing critical care services to patients requiring specialized medical attention.
