ADEX Healthcare Staffing LLC is seeking a travel nurse RN ICU - Intensive Care Unit for a travel nursing job in Conroe, Texas. Job Description & Requirements - Specialty: ICU - Intensive Care Unit - Discipline: RN - Start Date: ASAP - Duration: 13 weeks - 36 hours per week - Shift: 12 hours, days - Employment Type: Travel RN Position Job Notes: Travel or Local Registered Nurse needed for ASAP start. A minimum of 2 years of recent hospital bedside experience is required. Candidates must be able to start within 5 weeks. Opportunity for extension upon successful completion of the initial assignment. $750 referral bonus available. Opportunity: RN - ICU Job Details: • Work in a 30-bed ICU on the 3rd floor • Patient ratios range from 1:1 to 3:1 depending on acuity and patient needs • Must have ICU experience with ventilator and cardiovascular drips • Neurology experience preferred • Work with specialized equipment including CRRT, IABP, and Impella (not mandatory for contracts) • Use Meditech EMR system • Perform typical ICU procedures including thoracentesis, arterial line and central line placement • Required certifications: ACLS and BLS • Float to IMU as needed • Dress code requires royal blue scrubs • 4 weekend shifts required per schedule • No on-call responsibilities • Day and night shifts available with staffing ratios of 2 charge nurses and 15 nurses depending on acuity and 1:1 needs Facility: This healthcare facility operates a comprehensive 30-bed intensive care unit providing critical care services to patients requiring advanced medical intervention.
