Job Description Experienced PA-C – Functional Medicine & Hormone Therapy Specialist The Woodlands Institute for Health & Wellness (TWIHW) is seeking a highly experienced, clinically confident PA-C with a strong background in Functional Medicine, Integrative Health, and Bioidentical Hormone Replacement Therapy (BHRT) to join our growing Functional medicine practice led by Mila McManus, MD. A minimum of 5 years of experience working in: Functional Medicine Integrative or Preventive Medicine Lifestyle or Root-Cause Medicine ? Significant hands-on experience in: Bioidentical Hormone Replacement Therapy (BHRT) Thyroid and adrenal optimization Menopause and andropause care Nutritional & lifestyle protocols Advanced specialty labs (DUTCH, GI-MAP, micronutrient, etc.) ? Additional Clinical Competencies Strong ability to create personalized wellness plans Confidence in interpreting complex lab panels Comfort supporting detoxification, gut health, autoimmune protocols, metabolic disorders, and chronic conditions through natural/functional lenses Exceptional patient communication skills and education skills Candidates without functional-medicine and hormone-therapy experience will not be considered for this role at this time. Position Details PA-C Full-time (36–40 hours/week) On-site: Monday–Thursday 9–5, Friday 8–12 No call, no weekends Average 7–8 patients/day Collaborative, supportive environment Work directly with Dr. McManus and the clinical team Training & Transition While we require significant prior experience, we also offer: A structured onboarding plan Mentorship from Dr. McManus Protocol alignment training, including alternative and complementary cancer therapies Access to prior case studies and clinical frameworks Integration into our functional medicine model This role is ideal for someone who already practices functional medicine and can adapt into our established clinical philosophy.
