As a CDL A Truck Driver, you will play a crucial role in maintaining the flow of goods critical for various industries, ensuring timely and safe delivery while upholding Hogan1's standards of service excellence. Operate a tractor-trailer or truck with a capacity of at least 26,000 pounds Gross Vehicle Weight (GVW). Plan routes and meet delivery schedules. Comply with truck driving rules and regulations (size, weight, route designations, parking, break periods) as well as with company policies and procedures. Maneuver trucks into loading or unloading positions and ensure that loading/unloading is performed safely and efficiently. Collect and verify delivery instructions. Report defects, accidents or violations and ensure proper documentation of operations and freight movements. Maintain logs of working hours and vehicle service and repair status, following applicable state and federal regulations. Safe driving practices and ability to handle extended hours on the road. Proficiency in using GPS and other routing systems. Capability to manage time effectively and prioritize tasks. Strong communication skills and ability to interact professionally with clients and team members. Physical health and stamina required to load and unload cargo when needed. Medical Insurance Dental Insurance Vision Insurance Life Insurance 401k Valid Class A Commercial Driver’s License (CDL A). Must have a clean driving record. Prefer endorsements for Hazardous Materials or Tanker, but not required.
