Job Description:

Overview: You will be responsible for regulatory and compliance functions and will perform a variety of complex support activities associated with the administration, reporting, auditing, and delivery of payroll services within the company. Primary responsibilities will be payroll-related wage compliance, maintaining related records, and updating procedures and special reports for management. Key Duties & Responsibilities: Supports leadership with in-depth analysis and reporting on various projects related to data requests and financial reports in support of strategic initiatives Processes Bi-Weekly, multi-state payrolls for 4,000 employees using Oracle Cloud and Kronos i-Series Ensures all employees are paid accordingly and that inquires, and payment issues are resolved in a timely manner Compiles and upload all commissions. Compiles and analyzes payroll information and provides analytical support to business leaders related to payroll related trends and expenses. Plans, manages, and conducts wage compliance audits on in-process or completed payroll cycles. Researches and advises payroll staff concerning the accounting treatment of complex transactions. Assists with the validation of employee payroll results in Oracle after the initial processing of each payroll run. Fully tests all updates, patches and new processes before deployment in production. Performs special and non-routine analysis and reporting as required by management. Performs analysis on process improvement projects. Required Experience Bachelor---s Degree in Business, Accounting or Finance Minimum 5 years of experience Payroll tax and wage compliance functions A minimum of 3 years In-house payroll processing experience Preferred Experience Experience with Oracle is a plus Experience with ADP Smart Compliance for Tax and Garnishments preferred Certified Payroll Professional (CPP) is desirable Skills & Abilities: Strong analytical and Excel skills (vLookup, Pivot Table, etc.) Excellent verbal and written communication skills Organized and detail-oriented Able to multi-task and shift priorities, as required
