Job Description:

Clean Harbors, the North American leader in environmental and industrial services, seeks an experienced Supervisor of Industrial Services (IS) to oversee teams executing hazardous waste disposal, emergency spill response, and industrial cleaning services. This role is crucial in ensuring that operations are conducted safely, efficiently, and in compliance with environmental regulations, reflecting our commitment to protecting the environment and promoting sustainable practices. Oversee daily operations of the industrial services team, ensuring compliance with company policies and regulatory requirements. Plan, assign, and direct work tasks while monitoring workflow and workload to meet productivity targets and deadlines. Train and mentor team members on safety, operational procedures, and equipment handling. Conduct routine inspections and audits to uphold the highest standards of safety and quality. Manage resources and budget effectively, including equipment and personnel. Respond promptly and effectively to emergencies, coordinating with internal and external stakeholders. Ensure accurate reporting and documentation for all operational activities. Strong leadership and people management skills Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities Profound knowledge of environmental regulations and safety standards in industrial services Ability to handle high-stress situations and decision-making Proficiency in operational logistics and resource management Medical Insurance Dental Insurance Vision Insurance Life Insurance 401k OSHA Hazardous Waste Operations and Emergency Response (HAZWOPER) Certification Certified Safety Professional (CSP) or similar is preferred
