Job Description Job Description CNC LATHE MACHINIST Monday - Thursday, some Fridays and Saturdays overtime 6:00 am -4:30 pm $26.00 - $30.00 per hour ESSENTIAL JOB FUNCTIONS Operate CNC lathe machines that run automatically using pre-programmed computer controls Load and unload raw materials and finished parts from the CNC lathe Monitor machine operation to ensure parts are produced according to specifications Perform basic inspections of finished parts using measuring tools such as calipers and micrometers Identify and report machine malfunctions, tool wear, or quality issues to supervisors Make minor adjustments or offsets as instructed to maintain part quality Maintain a clean and safe work area in compliance with company safety standards Follow production schedules, work instructions, and quality procedures JOB REQUIREMENTS Previous experience operating CNC lathe machines preferred Ability to understand basic CNC machine operation and automated processes Experience reading basic blueprints, work orders, or job travelers is a plus Familiarity with basic measuring tools (calipers, micrometers, gauges) Strong attention to detail and quality Ability to stand for extended periods and lift materials as required Willingness to follow safety guidelines and company procedures Reliable attendance and ability to work assigned shifts
