Job Description:


Construction coordinator to build in Houston, Spring, The Woodlands, and Conroe. Must have his own crews.

Responsibilities/Duties/Functions/Tasks:

  • Establish and manage efficient and effective relationships with consultants, construction managers, contractors, team members, and senior leadership team.

  • Effectively communicate with engineers, construction managers, sales personnel, and vendors regarding details of the home.

  • Create, request, obtain, and review bids on new and revised plans, materials or plan specification requirements or changes.

  • Create quotes for materials and labor & quantifying materials amounts and needs for jobs.

  • Assist accounting on invoiced material and/or labor.

  • Request and obtain construction documents for permitting and inspections.

  • Assemble permit packages.

  • Assist with maintenance of lot-specific construction documents.

  • Organize, delegate, and prioritize work to meet deadlines.

  • Quality Inspections from beginning to end of multiple projects at once

Requirements:

  • Ability to work with minimum supervision and capable of self-checking for completeness and accuracy of work produced.

  • Work with speed and accuracy, work the assigned schedule and comply with the company's attendance policy,

  • Must have a great deal of flexibility and ability to handle multiple tasks with varying complexity.

Qualifications:

  • Associates Degree in any field.

  • Minimum 3 years' experience in General Contracting

  • Able to read blueprints and plans
