Job Description:
Position Summary
Supports benefits plans, processes and employee benefit
activities.
Primary Duties and Responsibilities
- Works with various employee benefit programs, such as group
insurance, life, medical, dental, accidental and disability,
insurance, pensions, investments, and savings; and health
maintenance organizations.
- Process and maintain status reports in a timely manner.
- Prepare and maintain employee electronic files, assuring
accuracy, compliance and confidentially.
- Assist employees in filing health, dental, life, and all other
related and deferred benefits claims.
- Assist Benefits Manager with arranging and conducting employee
information presentations and/or enrollment information
distribution.
- Resolve administrative problems with the carrier
representative.
- Maintains updates of employee benefits, correspondence, reports,
and forms.
- Help with administrative leave of absence in compliance with
FMLA.
- Oversee the processing of HR and Benefits invoices.
- Coordinate daily benefits processing.
- Ensure compliance with applicable government agencies/
regulations.
- Under the lead of the Benefits Manager, be a vital source of
information answering any questions employees may have related to
benefits.
- Works effectively to ensure the plan run smoothly. Investigate
discrepancies and provide support in non-routine situations.
- Prepare and setup meetings designed to help employees obtain
information and understand company benefits and other related
incentive programs as assigned by Benefits Manager.
- Other duties as assigned.

Education and Experience
- Associate Degree
- Two (2) years in benefits or related benefits administration.
- Experience in Word, Proficient in Excel, UKG and other applicable
database programs helpful such as Workday
- Effectively communicate with people in potentially stressful
situations.
- LOA experience - processes and state regulations.
- Experience with benefits administration for 3,000+ employees
Work Conditions/Physical Demands
Approximately 100% performed in climate-controlled internal office
environment under normal office conditions
