Job Description Sprint is seeking full-time Operators for our Landfill and Composting operations at our Conroe facilities. This position will be responsible for maintaining and operating heavy equipment, loading and unloading transport vehicles, inspecting incoming loads, general facility maintenance, and various other labor duties. Responsibilities: Follow all Company safety policies and procedures, including the proper manner in which to approach equipment; make eye contact with drivers to ensure signals are understood; maintain use of required personal protective equipment at all times. Enforce publicly-posted safety rules and unposted safety standards at all times Operate heavy equipment such as off-highway truck, compactor, wheel loader, bulldozer, water truck, wood grinder, and excavator Fueling and maintenance of equipment General facilities and grounds maintenance including mowing, trimming, and litter removal Performs other duties as assigned Requirements: Dependable and punctual Ability to work flexible hours including overtime and weekends on a regular basis Able to work outdoors in all weather conditions Physically capable of performing manual labor outside of the heavy equipment Basic mechanical skills and tool knowledge Equipment operating experience preferred Must be able to work without direct supervision Valid driver---s license Must be able to pass a pre-employment drug test and background screen Must be able to communicate in English, both written and verbally Must be able to regularly lift and /or move up to 50 pounds, and occasionally lift and/or move up to 100 pounds Pay commensurate with experience.
