Huntsman is seeking a Team Lead Inspection supporting the Performance Products Division located in Conroe, Texas. This position will report to the Maintenance Manager.

Job ScopeProvide oversight and direction for the fixed equipment inspection team. Set goals for inspection department, measure team's performance, track and report on teams' productivity and manpower requirements. and provide technical guidance as required.
In summary, as the Team Lead Inspection you will:

• Supervise the Huntsman/contract inspectors and all non-destructive examination technicians.
• Provide work direction for the contract inspection workforce.
• Assist with on-stream inspection programs for piping, vessels, exchangers, tanks, heaters, and relief devices.
• Communicate the shutdown inspection due dates for all fixed equipment.
• Review metallurgy requirements for process equipment as required on capital projects.
• Manage relations with State Boiler Inspector and maintain site owner-user inspection agency status.
• Maintain the positive material identification (PMI) program.
• Provide input to the capital budget for required renewal of fixed equipment.
• Assign inspection activities for process unit turnarounds.
• Manage the initiation of new equipment from capital projects into the mechanical integrity program.
• Oversee develop of inspection scopes for fixed equipment and perform/coordinate inspections.
• Supply site with inspection and repair recommendations in support of routine maintenance
• Diagnose program needs and make recommendations for improvement.
• Follow instructions and performs other duties as may be assigned by supervisor.
• Participate in and completes company-required training programs.
• Participate in Environmental, Health, & Safety initiatives as set forth by the company.Qualifications
  You must possess the below minimum qualifications to be initially considered for this position. Preferred qualifications are in addition to the minimum requirements and are considered a plus factor in identifying top candidates.The candidate must have an unrestricted right to work for Huntsman in the United States
  
  Minimum Qualifications
  
  • Bachelor's Degree in Mechanical Engineering or 8+ years of inspection industry experience.
  • Or High School Diploma with 3+ API Inspection Certifications and 10+ years of inspection industry experience.Skills and knowledge
    • Must have a level of proficiency with Internet, Email, and Microsoft programs
    • Supervision skillsPreferred Qualifications
      
      • Risk Based Inspection experience.
      • SAP maintenance experience.
