As a Senior Superintendent, you will be responsible for overseeing the construction of various heavy civil projects. You must possess excellent leadership skills, be able to manage a team, and have a passion for delivering high-quality projects.Responsibilities:

• Oversee the daily operations of construction sites, ensuring that all work is completed on time, within budget, and to the highest quality standards
• Manage a team of superintendents and ensure that they are performing their duties effectively
• Monitor and enforce compliance with safety regulations and procedures
• Collaborate with project managers, engineers, and other stakeholders to ensure that projects are completed according to specifications
• Develop and maintain project schedules, budgets, and cost estimates
• Ensure that all work is completed in compliance with TXDOT and DOT regulations
• Review and approve project submittals, RFIs, and change orders
• Manage subcontractors and ensure that they are meeting project requirements
• Conduct regular site visits and inspections to ensure that work is progressing according to schedule and quality standards
• Communicate project progress and issues to senior management and stakeholdersQualifications:
  • 3+ years of experience as a Superintendent in the construction industry, with a focus on heavy civil projects
  • Experience working on TXDOT and DOT projects
  • Knowledge of HCSS and Heavy Bid software
  • Strong leadership skills and the ability to manage a team
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to make decisions under pressure
  • Ability to read and interpret construction plans and specifications
  • Knowledge of construction safety regulations and procedures
