JOB DESCRIPTION:
This is a temporary position to move and deliver furniture and equipment wherever needed throughout the District. This position will entail some extended hours, evenings, and weekends. This position will begin no sooner than April 1, 2023 and end no later than August 31, 2023.
DUTIES and RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Assist repair crew when necessary.
• Responsible for seeing that all work schedules are carried out as assigned by moving lead.
• Move furniture, equipment and other items as assigned.
• Assist in the set-up of special District events such as graduation ceremonies, Board meetings, community meetings, etc.
• Assume the responsibilities of a custodian when necessary.
• Respond to emergency calls as needed and be on-call/stand-by as assigned by supervisor.
• Maintain confidentiality.
• Regular attendance.
• Other duties as assigned. EXPERIENCE:

    • Must be able to operate all vehicles and some equipment belonging to custodial. CONTACT INFORMATION:
      EQUIPMENT USED: District delivery vehicles forklift, electric drill, and hand tools Mental Demands/Physical Demands/Environment Factors: Maintain emotional control under stress. Frequent District travel; occasional prolonged and irregular hours. Frequent walking, standing, climbing, and heavy lifting and carrying. Lift and transport heavy objects such as desks, chairs, supplies and equipment depending on job assignment.
