$5,000 Recruiting Bonus Available SALARY: GR. A15-($3,006.41 / Monthly) Hazardous Duty Pay Law Enforcement & Custodial Officers System (LECOS) Retirement TDCJ Training Academy Required Extensive Overnight Travel MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS: 1. Graduation from an accredited senior high school or equivalent or GED. 2, Experience in warehouse operations, inventory and stock control, and supply methods and procedures preferred. 3. Experience in the operation and maintenance of tractor-trailer rigs preferred. 4. Correctional custody or law enforcement experience preferred. 5. Valid Class A Commercial Driver License (CDL). 6. Valid CDL Medical Examiner's certification statement issued within the last two years. 7. Successful completion of the current Texas Department of Criminal Justice freight transportation road test within the past twelve months. Must maintain valid license and certification for continued employment in position. The salary for an ERS Retiree (or non-contributing member) will be $2,933.08. The following Military Occupational Specialty codes are generally applicable to this position.
