Overview: Incumbent will be responsible for supporting the
Director, Compensation ensuring Compensation programs are carried
out in accordance with company policies and prevailing laws.
Collaborates with the Director and other team members to create and
distribute relevant written and verbal information to employees
regarding Compensation programs across Conn's.
Key Duties & Responsibilities: The Compensation Analyst's
responsibilities include, but are not limited to:
Assists with the development of salary recommendations for new
hires and promotional moves within Conn's
Develops and analyzes ad hoc reports related to compensation
policies and practices
Assesses and performs analysis on wage and salary data to
facilitate total rewards benefits packages
Participates in salary surveys benchmarking Conn's job roles as
appropriate
Prepares and disseminates employee communications related to
company policy changes
Provides support to HR Senior Leadership on special projects as
needed
Aides in additional administrative support for the HR
department
Additional tasks and projects, as assigned
Required Experience
Three (3) or more years of Compensation related experience
Bachelor's degree or high school diploma with 3 years of additional
equivalent experience
Effective time management skills to multi-task and manage multiple
projects simultaneously
Strong organizational interaction and presentation skills including
excellent interpersonal and communication abilities (both verbally
and written)
Preferred Experience
Certified Compensation Profession (CCP) preferred
Experience within a retail organization
Experience with Oracle Cloud
Skills & Abilities
Ability to collaborate with all levels within the organization
Organized and detail-oriented
Effective time management skills to multi-task and manage multiple
projects simultaneously
Strong organizational interaction and presentation skills including
excellent interpersonal and communication abilities (both verbally
and written)
Exhibit strong computer skills with demonstrated experience in
Microsoft Office products with a focus in Word/Excel and Web-Based
applications
Ability to maintain a high degree of confidentiality and
professionalism with strong attention to detail
Professio nal in appearance and manner
