Job Description:

Location: The WoodlandsContract: up to 12 months may go longerSeeking an Import/Export Coordinator to add to the team! - You will be the primary liaison between overseas affiliates, plants, supply chain and -freight forwarders through direct coordination with those departments to ensure a high level of -performance in the movement of goods in route to our customers.Duties include: -Heavy communications with both internal and external customers. Investigate and resolve -problem shipments. Arrange outbound international -cargo/freight shipments from start to finish.Continuous use of SAP Transportation Module to include -delivery creation, shipment creation, booking request, updating SAP system as required to -ensure correct information is maintained for booking details and documentation requirements.Ensure orders are shipped -in time to arrive by the customer's requested delivery date, all customs entries are filed, and -copies of shipping documents are distributed by required deadlines.Qualifications:Working knowledge of Freight Forwarder or Brokerage Operations including the following: IATA, -NVOCC, basic import/export regulations (AES), FMC, Clearance procedures.Understanding the preparation of IMO forms and hazardous regulations and SDS Sheets.Understanding of Import and Export Cargo documentation requirements.SAP experience is preferredHOUWD51PandoLogic.
