PROCESSING TECHNICIAN
This is What Youll Do:
+ Prompt and accurate collection, storage and shipping of plasma bottles and samples
+ Maintain compliance with SOP, current Good Manufacturing Procedures (cGMP) and regulatory guidelines
+ Accountable for area operations to accommodate production levels and donor arrival patterns
+ Trains and provides leadership to new/existing employees
+ Ensures prompt and sterile collection of plasma samples
+ Performs all required quality controls and reports issues to Quality Assurance and Management
+ Remains alert for any adverse donor reactions and notifies appropriate staff
+ Cleans blood or plasma spills and performs proper procedure for disposition of biohazardous waste
+ Monitors freezer and refrigerator temperatures
+ Conducts daily calibration of equipment

This is What It Takes:
+ High school diploma or GED
+ Ability to work days, evenings, weekends, holidays, and extended shifts
+ Ability to lift up to thirty-five pounds
+ Ability to enter environment with temperature of -40C for short periods of time
+ Minimum 1 year experience in laboratory or warehouse environment
+ Licensure required by the state of employment
+ Team lead/Supervisor experience
+ Highly organized and detail oriented
+ Demonstrates consistency and reliability
+ CPR certification
