Job Description Job Description We are seeking a dynamic and experienced Regional Manager to lead our sales and operations for the South Texas market. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in lumber sales and distribution, along with proven leadership skills to effectively manage a team and drive business growth. Responsibilities: Sales Leadership: Develop and implement sales strategies to achieve revenue targets and increase market share. Lead and motivate the sales team to meet and exceed sales goals. Identify new business opportunities and establish relationships with potential clients. Analyze sales data and market trends to adjust strategies and maximize profitability. Operations Management: Oversee all operational activities, including inventory management, logistics, and order fulfillment. Ensure efficient and timely delivery of products to customers while minimizing costs. Implement and enforce company policies and procedures related to operations. Collaborate with other departments to streamline processes and improve overall efficiency. Team Development: Recruit, train, and mentor sales and operations staff to enhance their skills and performance. Provide ongoing coaching and feedback to support the professional growth of team members. Foster a positive work environment that encourages teamwork, accountability, and innovation. Customer Relationship Management: Build and maintain strong relationships with key customers and suppliers. Address customer inquiries, concerns, and complaints in a timely and satisfactory manner. Work closely with the customer service team to ensure high levels of customer satisfaction. Financial Management: Prepare and manage the annual budget for the region, including sales forecasts and expense planning. Monitor financial performance against budget and take corrective actions as needed. Implement cost-saving measures and identify opportunities for revenue growth.
