Job Description:
Aveanna Healthcare, a premier national provider of pediatric
home care, is seeking a compassionate and diligent Registered Nurse
(RN) to provide Private Duty Nursing to our clients in a part-time
or PRN (Pro re nata) capacity. Our ideal candidate will deliver
personalized and high-quality care directly in patients' homes,
allowing them to achieve their greatest level of health and
independence. You will be a pivotal part of a dedicated team that
works toward the best outcomes for our patients by providing
one-on-one care and tailored health interventions. Provide direct
and individualized nursing care to assigned patients based on
nursing standards and in accordance with physician orders. Conduct
initial ongoing comprehensive assessments of the patient’s needs,
including Outcome and Assessment Information Set (OASIS)
assessments at appropriate time points. Develop a care plan that
establishes goals, based on nursing diagnosis and incorporates
therapeutic, preventive, and rehabilitative nursing actions.
Administer medications, wound care, and numerous other personalized
interventions as ordered by a physician. Direct and supervise care
delivered by other healthcare professionals like LPNs and nurse
aides. Document patient’s condition and nursing needs accurately
and in a timely manner. Report any changes in patient’s condition
to the case manager and physician as needed. Strong proficiency in
clinical assessments, documentation, and compliance with nursing
care and policies. Ability to operate all standard medical and
testing equipment. Excellent communication and interpersonal
skills. Medical Insurance Dental Insurance Vision Insurance Life
Insurance Current Registered Nurse (RN) license in the state of
practice. CPR certified. Preferably certified in administering IVs
and managing central lines.
