Role: Sample Manager v10 Developer

Role Description: The Sample Manager v10 Developer would need to have at least 5+ years of experience.

Responsibilities:

- Design, configure and deploy solutions based on the Sample Manager/LIMS solutions.

- Design and implement interfaces with external applications.

- Integrate instruments with Sample Manger v 10/ LIMS products.

- Develop and maintain a high level of Sample Manager v 10 /LIMS product knowledge expertise, including new product development, revisions and releases.

- Develop and implement enhancements, revisions to meet the needs of the client.

- Deliver solutions as required and requested, according to agreed timeline, ensuring solutions conform to company standards and SOPs.

- Provide technical support to colleagues and clients on technical aspects of projects.

- Obtain requirements from Internal/External Clients and provide solutions.

- Maintain day to day system support and development activities of systems and technologies.

- Participate in the delivery of quality software through effective design and peer reviewing of code, unit testing Involve in the full system life cycle and is responsible for design, code, test, implement, maintain and support application software that is delivered within time and cost budget.

- Evaluates system impact in consultation with the business, IT management, regulatory, IT development, quality assurance, validation, and training teams.

- Partners with functional business system analyst and IT management to identify necessary department resources to meet defined objectives.

- Participates in strategic customer meetings to review and evaluate new technical challenges that are required to improve operating efficiencies and/or add business benefits.

- Acts as an internal resource for the consultation to other department members to provide expertise and possible solutions to resolve business needs.

Required Skills:

- Prior experience with Sample Manager v 10 development.

- Additional programming skills needed include: strong SQL capabilities, JavaScript, .NET, VB Script.

- Knowledge/Experience with Oracle client and Microsoft SQL Server (configuration/ troubleshooting multiple application connections from Oracle/MS workstation clients to various Oracle/MS databases).

- Software Development Life Cycle (SDLC) management, Validation and Qualification, Administration of regulated applications, Change Management (data and configuration), System and Network Security, Disaster Recovery.

- SDLC Documentation, Installation Instructions, Change Requests, Test Protocols and Training Materials.

- Knowledge of Laboratory Information Management Systems and laboratory operations.

- Experience or training with Sample Manager strongly preferred.

- System and Application Monitoring: NetIQ, TOAD, Oracle, development of automated monitoring and support processes and procedures.

- Requires strong analytical and communication skills as well as sound judgment and the ability to work effectively with Business Analysts, Software Developers, and customers.

Education: Bachelor's Degree
