Job Description:

Adecco is looking for a Contract Sr Level Developer CMS/PHP for a large client located in The Woodlands, TX. The contract is expected to last possibly up to a year. See job description and requirements below:

SCOPE:

Sr. Level Developer who will work with a team of developers to build, implement and support customer facing applications. This resource will report to a Tech Lead/Mgr and will work in an agile environment to build new functionality and support existing codebase.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:

- Implements, maintains, troubleshoots and resolves problems relating to corporate content, community and transactional sites.

- Achieves a high level of customer service and communication with clients.

- Gains a working knowledge of the company's business drivers and determines opportunities/benefits for improvement of business performance by using information technologies.

- Works with other IT staff to deploy company strategies in the field and resolve problems.

- Participates in technology planning and development cycles.

MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS:

1. BS degree in Computer Science or equivalent experience.

2. Experience with doing enterprise level development using CMS frameworks like Drupal or Joomla.

3. Enterprise level PHP development experience.

4. Experience with JavaScript, CSS and JQuery.

5. Enterprise level Java development experience preferred.

6. Familiarity with version control and version management, preferable Subversion.

7. Familiarity with both Windows and Linux/Unix environment.
